Sample Skirt Sale

As we launch our new website to look totally new and easier to shop, we have also be putting together our sample sale. We pulled out all the samples of clothing we've been testing and putting together for months and we will be holding a big sample sale when the website launches in less than two week.

Spring Collections

Rum and Couture is feeling the green movement! Greens are in this spring and the good news is that almost everybody can rock a shade of green. The top incorporates green in a splashy way that doesn't leave you covered head to toe in green if it is not your color. The yellow, orange, and purple splashes bring in warm in color for those who's complexion needs a warm tint. For those who can rock green, the bottom dress is perfect for you! This dress is very feminine and just the right length for picnics and warm windy days.

Fashion Show!

Hello all! Sorry for the slow down in the updates. I have been busy at work doing all sorts of online work like company emails, website work (which is set up now to take online orders!), flyers and all the like design work. But most importantly we pulled off two fashion shows! One through SUNY Cortland and another through SUNY IT! I would like to say thank you to the amazing work the people who put on the shows did. Also, I would like to invite everyone to take a look at the pictures on our Facebook Page searchable under Rum and Couture. Up are all the looks from the SUNY IT fashion show. All of these looks are now available at www.rumandcouture.com also. I'm so happy for the opportunity to do the shows again and can't wait for next year.

BUT BEFORE THEN>>>>>let's hope to get a fashion show going on in Cortland NY. Right now setting up a show would be great for the community. With rising gas prices we are inviting people to shop local or find us online. I'll keep you updated with the details of our potential fashion show.

PLUS: I would like to invite all who find the inspiration to work on their own business ventures to our new blog www.designerdreaming.blogspot.com...which will be my blog on the business aspect of being only 24 and opening a business in this rather shaky economy. In any case I would love to share my ups and downs and lessons learned as well as resources that I have encountered along the way.

The Fem-Belt

The waist belt has been working its way around the spectrum from tiny skinny belts to huge suit of armor belts. But all the hardware tends to make the belts edgy. The spring is coming and here is a sweet feminine twist on the waist belt....bows and flowers for claps. Available at Rum and Couture Boutique.

It's got a funky ring to it...

I'm usually raving about the cocktail ring that holds it's own at a party or is the start of a great party conversation...but today I'm paying tribute to the funky ring. Not exactly cocktail but more of a little funk in your life. The buckle ring is a cute play on the usual boring belt or shoe buckle. The white flower ring screams spring. And of course, both are sporting my favorite color....sparkle!

Expanded Jewlery Wall!

For the love of headbands! Here is a preview of the new accessories coming into the Rum and Couture Boutique! These new pieces are coming in at the end of this week. New headbands are a must for putting your hair up or letting your hair down. This is also probably the easiest way to hide a bad hair day!

It's Rum&Couture Baby! and we are launching our new Spring '11 Collection. With our Rum&Couture Baby! Designer Deborah Alton joining the Rum&Couture team we are in full baby swing. Her talent on the Rum&Couture team has brought us amazing baby clothes to go with the (already rockin!) hand made bears!
